De 2.5D is an automatic bevelling cutting head with 5 axis. It allows cutting in angles between 0⁰ to 55⁰. It features torque engines, developed in-house, featuring a hollow axis. During assembly, minimal tolerances are achieved through use of sophisticated metal-metal gluing methods. This ensures improvement measurements of the cut products. The 2.5D cutting head can be easily programmed using the IGEMS software, making it very easy to use.

A “taper effect” is caused at faster cutting speeds and when using particular material types and/or thicknesses. This leads to a non-right-angle cut. In such instances, angle deviations are compensated by the 2.5D cutting head.
