Orbitforms standard radial heads are equipped with a 3 degree or 5 degree angle forming peen tool. The angled peen tool allows rivets to be formed with less downward forming force than with a traditional press, as the angled peen produces minimal rivet shank swell and lower rivet shoulder swell. The angled peen technology allows a smaller machine to permanently assemble products such as automotive hinge assemblies.
