Low Resistance Meter, uses this 10 Amp for electrical interconnections integrity testing. It can verify the quality contact interfaces, thanks to its extremely low resistances measurements ranging from 0.01 µΩ to 200Ω om. Certain factors like residual contact force, vibrations and corrosion affect electrical interconnections like sockets, circuit breaker connections, switches, cable joints, battery intercell connections and other types of connection devices. These factors are responsible for downgrading the quality of the contact surfaces, leading to wear and tear and finally total failure of these electrical components. Longevity of these connections depends on the amount of damage it is taking each day. When there is considerable increase in contact resistance in electrical interfaces, understand that the components are dying out. LRM-10 prevents this from happening because it checks for the voltage drop with its four-cable measurement method, the current injection channels ( l, -l) and a Voltage sensing channel ( V, -V).
