These structures were gold coated with Vac Coat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bihec.com\/vactechniche\/tag\/dscr\/\" title=\"View all posts in DSCR\" target=\"_blank\">DSCR<\/a>\u00a0<strong>SEM coater<\/strong>\u00a0for further analysis through Scanning Electron Microscopy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_inner vc_row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\">\n<div class=\"vc_column-inner\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p>The cardiac troponin I (cTnI) can be used as a circulating biomarker that is associated with coronary artery diseases (CAD) and an interpreter of cardiovascular disease (CVD). The aim of this research is to develop ultrasensitive, highly selective, cost-effective cTnI sensors with evaluating their sensitivity, selectivity, and specificity profiles. Henceforth, three distinct electrochemical sensors were synthesized based on molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) named (DA-AuNP-MIP, DA-GQD-MIP, and DA-AuNP-GQD-MIP) for detecting cTnI.<\/p>\n<p id=\"gQrPFBW\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"768\" height=\"400\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-214 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.bihec.com\/vactechniche\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/431\/2024\/07\/img_668d058a41cb8.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.bihec.com\/vactechniche\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/431\/2024\/07\/img_668d058a41cb8.png 768w, https:\/\/www.bihec.com\/vactechniche\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/431\/2024\/07\/img_668d058a41cb8-300x156.png 300w, https:\/\/www.bihec.com\/vactechniche\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/431\/2024\/07\/img_668d058a41cb8-500x260.png 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Molecularly imprinted polymers, serving as plastic antibodies, show remarkable affinity, specificity, and selectivity for the target molecules. The sensitivity of MIPs can be improved by integration of smart nanomaterials, such as gold nanoparticles (AuNP), graphene quantum dots (GQD) or a combination of both, into MIPs through electrochemical processes.<\/p>\n<p>The surface morphology of the samples was studied using a scanning electron microscope (SEM). To make the samples conductive for high-quality SEM imaging, they were coated with a thin film\u00a0of gold by sputtering deposition with Vac Coat Desk Sputter and carbon Coater DSCR (I = 10 mA, time = 30 seconds) in an argon\u00a0<strong>plasma<\/strong>\u00a0environment. The SEM images are shown in Figure 1.<\/p>\n<p>Vac Coat offers SEM coaters supplied with\u00a0<strong>Quartz crystal thickness sensors<\/strong>\u00a0for precise control over deposited film thickness.\u00a0 Low vacuum sputter coater <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bihec.com\/vactechniche\/tag\/dsr1\/\" title=\"View all posts in DSR1\" target=\"_blank\">DSR1<\/a> is an ideal sputtering coater for swift noble metal thin films deposition. Low vacuum carbon coater, DCR, and combined low vacuum sputter and carbon coater DSCR provides conductive coatings for SEM sample preparation. High vacuum sputter coater DST1, carbon coater, DCT, and combined sputter and carbon coater, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bihec.com\/vactechniche\/tag\/dsct\/\" title=\"View all posts in DSCT\" target=\"_blank\">DSCT<\/a>, are perfect SEM coaters for deposition of oxidizing metal films, like tungsten, with a small grain size for high-resolution electron microscopy imaging.
