唐纳森SDD DCD型爆破片是一种复合式正拱型爆破片，由三个部分组成：
开槽穿孔金属层
密封膜片（通常采用PTFE，也可选用多种其他金属或非金属材料）
保护层
该型号特别适用于静态工况下的气体和液体介质，在低压领域表现卓越。DCD爆破片能在数毫秒内实现全开式响应，且完全无碎片产生，因此是阀门保护的理想之选。为应对真空或背压工况，可配备专用支撑件。
此外，复合式唐纳森SDD爆破片还能提供压力与真空的双重同步保护。
