2 Reservoirs for deoxygenation of KCL brine.
Heat trace with controller to ensure fluid enters the cell at the test temperature.
Backpressure control & electronic balances capable of measuring 0.1 g/min.
System logged & data processed via PC.
Six differential pressure transducers per cell. DP low full range is 0-3 ps. Total 6 sets for two
cells. M9500 is able to monitor the differential pressure of the upper half, lower half and the
whole cell. This way any abnormality due to incorrect loading will be caught in the early stage of
testing. This would also weed out those bad tests from the start.
Three pressure transducer to monitor each cell pressure at the inlet, outlet and center ports up
to 3,000 psi with accuracy of 0.1% of full scale.
Two laser distance transducers per cell, totally four laser distance transducers. Four laser
distance transducers are critical to make sure cells are well leveled from beginning to the end
of testing.
Two solid traps.
Leak-Off System:
Function: Enable backpressure to be maintained against rock wafers before leak-off.
Features include:
Back Pressure to 2,000 psi.
All 316 Stainless Steel for those components exposed to injected brine.
Digital balances measures leak off rate.
Flow Back Testing:
Function: Measure flow-back properties of a proppant using one or more test fuids.
Measures the movement of particles in fluid
Test fluids include silicate additives or corrosives
Multiple cells can enable simultaneous tests
Software can create multiple sequence steps for detailed flow-back analysis.
Hydraulic Press & Cells:
Function: Provides closure stress for conductivity cells.
Features include:
Four post construction.
20,000 psi closure on 10 in2 cross-sectional.
Can handle up to at least two stacked cells.
Four laser displacement sensors for measuring gap changes. Two per cells.
Individual heating elements for cells and controllers.
Computer controlled pump for pressurization and control.
One Isco 260D Pump in 316 Stainless Steel.

Capability to heat to 350 degrees F with accuracy of ±1 degree F.
