Calculation of brine composition for Differential Scale Loop

Calculation according provided water analysis, separation of cationic and anionic

components. Elaboration of specific formulation, Recommendation on specific component

replacement (optional).

Dynamic tube blocking test for scale according industrial standard. Measurement with artificial cationic

& anionic brines according water analysis with inhibited brine. Selection of different inhibitor dose rates

(number of dose rates dependent on run-time per dose rate). Detection of scale by deposition at tube

and/or by filter pressure drop.

· Test temperature: +30 .. +250 °C (+86 .. +482 °F)

· Test pressure: 0 .. 380 bar (0 .. 5500 psi)

· Flow rate: 1 .. 10 ml/min (6 .. 8 ml/min typical)

· Test duration / dose rates: up to 10 h max. (6 .. 10 different dose rates)

· Test capillary: 0,75 mm x 2 m, stainless steel
