The C146 connectors are deliberately designed and manufactured to match the low voltage directive (73/23/EWG) conventional to German law, Gerätesicherheitsgesetz for use within technical ratings only. It has conforms to different qualifications and requirements such as the DIN EN 61984 (VDE0627); IEC 60664-1 (VDE 0110-1) and IEC 60529 international standards.
