This standardized hardness tester conforms to the standards of ISO RS MAG and ASTM. It features a magnetic clamping mechanism and a single start level. Surface contact and test piece clamping can be performed from any distance, and with any automatic test cycle. The measuring head has a 50-mm stroke with clamping. During the measurement cycle, errors are compensated for. The hardness measurement results are displayed on the LCD graphic display with the Rockwell or Brinell units, which are suitable for any round or flat surface. Even when an inverted RS MAG is equipped with a calibrated load cell system, the unit can operate in any direction. The diamond cone or indenters balls are interchangeable. Additional features include an RS-232 output for printer, multi-scale vision, tolerance setting, histogram, temperature measurement, etc.
