Basic LabView file for computer control: serial communication RS-232 or Analog/SCSI for 68 pin connectors

To change this basic file, a full version of LabView is required. 

The .vi file is available upon request. 

For LabView SCSI program for 68 pin connectors on back of power supply, it is easiest to use with D to A and A to D boards from National Instruments, plus 2 cables. Additional cost

Electron Source - tested with lab power supply Beam Current: 1nA to 100µA Spot Size: 0.5 mm to 25mm focused and collimated Ta disc cathode installed [up to 1 x 10-5 torr] Beam energy, beam current, and spot size are independently adjustable. 4-pole Electrostatic Deflection: ±6 degrees at 10keV; scales larger at lower energies Above specifications are met when the Electron Source is used with Kimball Physics associated power supply. Insertion Length - (Sealing surface to end): Standard Length: 109 mm.   (with blanker option – 163mm )
