Ta disc cathode installed standard [up to 1 x 10-5 torr]

4-pole electrostatic deflection: ±3 degrees at 5keV, ±5 degrees at 1.5keV, scales larger at lower energies.

Note that because the EFG-7 design has been optimized as a flood source and uses a cylindrical 4-pole deflector, deflection aberrations can be severe when the beam is focused into a small spot, then deflected off center.

Above specifications are met when the Electron Source is used with Kimball Physics associated power supply.
