Particle suspension is pumped through the flow-through cell, directly from the process (if diluted enough) or from a sample. A CCD camera is continuously taking images at a rate of up to 20 fps which are analysed in real time and results displayed online. All results (for each particle) are stored in one data file. Movies of the images taken can be saved at the same time and an analog output can be configured e.g. for online control of a process. The data file can be analysed with an easy to use reporting module after the measurement in 3 different modes: size and shape distributions, scatter plots and trends.
