Open Flanges Setup:
Testing head and gas feeding:
2 X 90 X 90 X 6 mm flanges with gas feeding 300 mm tight welded tubes;
Inlet of fuel tube with Ø8mm for Swagelock mounting
2 X 50 X 4 mm tube on the upper flange as holder for thermocouple-positionning: at
10 and 20 mm from the center
Material: botton and upper flanges: inconel 601; Fuel and air feeding tubes: Inconel
600
Constant pressure loading rods:
4 X 350 mm rods and 300 mm tubes, washers and wing nuts (material: SS 316);
8 steatite feed through bushes (Ø 10 X 5 mm)
4 calibrated springs: length = 29.5 mm, k= 2.8 Kg/mm;
Option for other material: ceramic tubes holder and pressure loading rods made of
Inconel 600 (useful for intensive use at T>850°C)
Long term test kit
Kiln: Toploader Squadro SQ11 (Kittec, DE) equipped with Fiaxell
security plug
Option for short stack or long term test kit (holes in the bottom of the furnace and in
the Set-Up steel box. Special stand for the furnace)
Stainless steel tank for Kittec furnace (allow to recover hot pieces that could fall from
the bottom hole in furnace)
1 X extra heating elements (for replacement)
Selected accessories: 1 X long term test kit, 1 X in-situ steamer Easy
Steam™(Al2O3), 2 X diffuser with exhaust gas recovery (for medium and small
size cell), gold M_Grid 1 X 40 X 40 mm with 5 gold wires (up to 28 Amps) and 1
X Ø 14 (with 2 gold wires), 2 X redox 2R-Cell Ø 50 mm & consumables (ceramic
felts, soft mica, nickel foam), punching tools (Ø 2 to Ø 60 mm) and square for cell
