Safety barrier option for TMA 204-P Safety barriers are used as economical interfaces without galvanic isolation between intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe circuits. They protect circuits in hazardous location. Safety barriers are used to limit the power supply into an intrinsically circuit in such a way that neither sparks nor thermic effects can cause an ignition.

The safety barriers which are located in the safe-area has the ATEX-agreement Eex ia IIC/IIB (PTB Ex-91.C.2046X).

Please Note!: Sensor can be placed in Ex Area, but Analyser has to be used in Non-Hazardous Area!
