Open Flanges Setup:

Testing head and gas feeding:

2 X 90 X 90 X 6 mm flanges with air feeding with tight welded tube (cane);

Fuel tube with Ø6X5 mm welded on diffuser (nickel or Crofer 22 APU or else) 2 X 40 X 4 mm tube on the upper flange (cane) as holder for thermocouplepositionning: at 10 and 20 mm from the center (or other position to be specified from the customer)

Material: botton and upper flanges: inconel 601; air feeding tube: Inconel 600 (or alumina, see long term test kit); fuel feeding tube: nickel, inconel or alumina

Constant pressure loading rods:

4 X 350 mm rods and 300 mm tubes, washers and wing nuts (material: SS 316);

8 steatite feed through bushes (Ø 10 X 5 mm)

4 calibrated springs: length = 29.5 mm, k= 2.8 Kg/mm;

Spare parts for loading system:

4 X 350 mm rods and 300 mm tubes, washers and wing nuts (material: SS 316) with 8 steatite feed through bushes (Ø 10 X 5 mm)

4 calibrated springs: length = 29.5 mm, k= 2.8 Kg/mm;

Option for additional pre-defined pressure quick mounting：

4 additional stainless steel tubes for predefined pressure quick mounting cut at lenght chosen by customer; standard pressure applied : 4*5.4 Kg per spring => 29 Kg on the whole cell

Option for metal boxed ceramic insulation: the insulation ceramic plate is covered by a ferritic stainless steel box in order to prevent any damage (used in continuous operation up to 800°C,few days at 850°C and few hours at 900 °C

Kiln: Toploader Squadro SQ11 (Kittec, DE) equipped with Fiaxell

security plug

Option for short stack or long term test kit (holes in the bottom of the furnace and in

the Set-Up steel box. Special stand for the furnace)

Stainless steel tank for Kittec furnace (allow to recover hot pieces that could fall from

the bottom hole in furnace)
