Warm Room WR-3203 and WR-3204 are designed to operate in the temperature range 20°C to 70°C. Conditioning systems are designed to control temperature with ±1°C and to achieve uniformity of ±2°C. Furthermore, conditioning systems are designed to accommodate “live load” of 5 W/sq.ftf. ( 50W/sq.m).
Humidity control and make-up air are designed to operate 10°C to 40°C and 25%RH to 95%RH humidity (temperature conditioning 20°C to 37°C).
1. Wall Panels: The room structures supplied by Harris Environmental will consist of 4” (100mm) urethane insulated panels with 24 ga (0.6mm) white smooth galvanized steel with anti-microbial coating interior and 26 ga (0.5 mm) white embossed galvanized steel exposed exterior finish. All panels will join with camlocks at panel edges. 'For this project, Harris will furnish Class 1 UL-labeled panels complying with ASTM E84 standard: flame spread less than 25 and smoke density less than 450. Panels will not contain any wood re-enforcement.
2. Doors: Each Room will have a flush mounted solid door, 48” x 78” (1.2 m x 2.0 m) high, and manufactured of the same construction materials as the wall and roof panels. A 14” x 14” (35cm x 35cm) viewing window will be installed within the door. The door will have chrome-plated hardware.
3. Floors: Insulated floor for high humidity levels.
4. Conditioning System: Low profile forced air evaporator will be employed to condition each room. Evaporators include coil with copper tube-aluminum fins, aluminum housing and drain pan and fin heater assemblies with over-temperature thermostat.
5. Lighting:
Three (3) two-tube surface-mounted fluorescent fixtures with 48” long T8 3500°K bulbs will be used to provide 70 f-c @ 40” (500 Lux@1 m) AFF illumination.
6. Control Panels: Rooms will be supplied with a common control panel housed in a white NEMA1 enclosure. Two (2) Automation Direct PLC (one (1) for each room) with 6” color touch screen will be employed for the following functions:
• Password protection
• Temperature & Humidity control
• Alarms
• Alarm history
• Data trending (recording)
• Ethernet
Harris Alarm controller will be furnished for independent High-Low temperature alarms. Platinum RTD probe will be used for temperature sensing
Power for the Control Panel will be 230V/1ph/50Hz.
7. Refrigeration: 3-pipe hot gas by pass direct expansion refrigeration system with 2 HP scroll compressors and air-cooled condenser will be employed for each room. Refrigeration system will employ R-134A refrigerant.
8. Test:
Eight (8) hours uniformity testing employing twelve (12) temperature probes and multi-channel data recorder is included in the proposal.
