Olis, Inc Scanning Excitation Module to CPL SOLO Spectrophotometer Scanning Excitation Module

The scanning excitation module consists ofan OLIS single grating F/4.2 monochromator for

scanning UV/Vis wavelengths within available spectral range of200-800 nm during the

course ofsteady-state or kinetic experiment. Light source is a 150 W xenon arc lamp,

chosen for its intense output and broad spectral range utility. Wavelength selection is

through SpectralWorks software: one can scan a broad range so as to establish the

wavelength which generates the highest emission from the sample. For the CPL

measurement, the monochromator is then set to this best excitation wavelength.

Mounting hardware is provided for adding the xenon arc lamp housing assembly and

excitation monochromator to the CPL SOLO.

SpectralWorks software is provided for control ofthe excitation monochromator and

emission monochromator, data acquisition, data handling, and data fitting. Fitting

algorithms include those ofthe Matheson-DeSa GlobalWorks suite, plus many for 2D

analysis including peak finder, spectral deconvolution, difference spectra, derivative,

integration, etc. Data storage and retrieval, with import/export capabilities for ASCII and

EXCEL file types are provided for dealing with OLIS and non-OLIS acquired data.
