Accessory for making accurate absorbance readings on liquid or solid samples with a typically high backgrounds. Design consists of one 100 mm integrating sphere with its own dedicated PbS and PMT detectors positioned at a 90° angle to the measuring beam; sample is positioned between the sphere and the side wall of the sample chamber directly in front of the detector in the clamps provided or in a 1 pathlength rectangular cuvette (please choose one option). Sample holders are positioned on both sides of the sphere assembly allowing for collection of forward scattering and back scattering from the turbid sample.
Sphere accessory is easily removed and replaced with standard cell holders. Price includes software modifications and custom mounting of the integrating sphere and detectors.
