Olis, Inc N-NIR Wavelength Extension for DSM 1000, 800-1650 nm PRO2925
Extending the range of a UV/Vis OLIS DSM 1000 involves the exchange of two gratings, both
detectors, and the addition of a second order filter. The new grating pair will be blazed at 1000
nm with 600 lines per millimeter, providing a useful range of 670-1800 nm. The TE-cooled
InGaAs detectors will be configured with four 1 mm diodes each, for rapid and sensitive
readings to 1700 nm. A second order filter, under computer control, will be used to remove
second order light which is produced by the double grating monochromator when scanning in the
NIR region.
