Ta disc cathode installed standard [up to 1 x 10-5 torr]
Energy sweeping capability.
4-pole electrostatic deflection: ±2.5 degrees at 2000eV; scales larger at lower energies
Fast Pulsing Capability: Pulse Generator is required. Ultra High Speed Pulse Generator Pulse widths 20ns to 100 s, rep rates up to 20% duty cycle. ECC not usable simultaneously. Best results when used with flange mounted gun. One suggested model: Avtech Model AVR-E2-C-P not provided.
Above specifications are met when the Electron Source is used with Kimball Physics associated power supply.

Non-standard length add more cost
For low energy operation, the recommended end-of-housing to target is 20 mm.
Even the earth’s magnetic field can deflect the beam at longer distances. Smaller spots are more easily obtained at shorter working distances.
